This program gives people the ability to make the best decisions about their nutrition while staying away from diet culture. Rather than a restrictive program, Megan focuses on what we can add to our diets to become more healthy. Megan gave specific details on how much protein, fiber, fat, etc. that we should consume. It was never fear based but rather embraced a love for food and healthy eating. I can’t think of a single person that wouldn’t benefit from taking this course! The Positive Plate Program has not left me with the “perfect” diet. Instead, it has left me much better equipped to discover what kind of diet my body functions best on. While I have not currently made all of the changes in my diet that I would like to, I have the tools and the confidence that I will eventually be able to make these changes.
