Before this course I felt hopeless

When I first considered signing up for the Positive Plate Program and getting nutrition counseling it almost felt a little silly to pay money for someone to tell me to eat better and eat more fruits and vegetables. “I can tell myself that for free!” I said to myself. Months later I reached a point where I could no longer ignore that my health was not going in a good direction. So, I took a slice of humble pie and signed up, and I am really glad I did. If you can afford the 1:1 counseling, I highly recommend that too! Megan has a really well-rounded approach to teaching, goal setting, and positive thinking that starts small and builds over time to make sustainable, long-term changes easier. Before this course I felt hopeless that I would ever see any improvement in my situation. I can see a path to get there now, and that is worth a lot to me.
